They Know They Owe Their Jobs to Thaksin

Sign behind Metropolitan Police Bureau chief Kamronwit Thoopkrachang: I have today because you gave it to me.
Left caption: Kamron’s sign is this big.
PM Yingluck’s sign reads: I have today because you gave it to me.
Right caption: How big is Poo’s sign, then?

[Kamron is Metropolitan Police Bureau chief Kamronwit Thoopkrachang, who went abroad to see fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Kamron was photographed having Thaksin pin an insignia on his uniform as a sign of his fealty to Thaksin.
A sign that reads “I have today because you gave it to me” (a lyric from the officer’s favorite song) hangs in Kamronwit’s office is to show how grateful he is to Thaksin for supporting him. This admission is somewhat scandalous since it is claimed that Thaksin is not running the government nor making its decisions.
At right, a similar, but huge, sign hangs behind Yingluck as a joke to emphasize that, had Thaksin not picked her from obscurity six weeks before the 2011 elections, she would never have been in politics, much less prime minister.]
