From Matichon Weekly, November 9, 2012
Cover reads: Good person, good story
[Reference is to Panthongthae Shinawatra, son of fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who posted an accusation on his Facebook page claiming that Privy Councillor and former prime minister Gen. Surayuth Julanont is the mysterious man behind the protest on October 28 led by Gen. Boonlert Kaewprasit. The claim is that the protest is the first step of the three-step plot to topple the government. The second step is to assassinate his father, Thaksin, at Thaa Khilek on the border of Thailand and Myanmar where the latter planned to meet his Thai supporters. It is implied that Gen. Suryuth is also behind the plot. Fearing for his life, Thaksin later cancelled the trip. The last step is a coup d’etat. Gen. Surayuth denies the accusation.]
