Vehicles registered in Bangkok doubled from 4.28 to 8.55 million in 10 years

    Deputy Minister of Transport asking BMA and rural Highway Dept to speed up the construction of the following three bridges across Chao phraya and the license numbers of car in BKK has reached 8.55 million cars due to the first car policy
    1. Kiakkai Bridge with a price tag of 9,100 million Baht for 5.9 km bridge and ramps done by BMA -> delayed due to the political football between BMA vs Government and the land ex-appropriation for the ramps
    2. Pathum Thani Bridge 3 with a price tag of 1,820 million Baht by rural Highway Dept with 10.5 km road and bridge
    3. Samut Prakarn Bridge across the mouth of Chao Phraya with a price tag of 19,437 million Baht financed done by rural Highway Dept with a loan for 37 km bridge and road networks – now on the design stage – to be done in 2015 and the construction started in 2017 –
