The Economist print edition not being distributed in Thailand this week

Due to sensitive content in this week’s issue of The Economist and in consideration of the lèse majesté laws, we have decided not to distribute the November 16th 2013 print edition of The Economist in Thailand…

They go on to helpfully suggest that all the content is available in their online edition…

The offending article seems to be the weekly “Banyan” column entitled “Blowing the whistle – Thailand’s former prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, loses a battle but is winning the war” and the prospects of a “royal pardon” for Thaksin. Nothing we haven’t heard a million times before…
