[This reflects a commonly referenced syndrome in Thai politics where elected governments gain power until they amass enough power to overreach and impinge on other centers of power. They are then overthrown–a sort of political correction. This correction most often involves a violent intervention by the military.
The cartoonist points out that, in recent years, a new syndrome has emerged. This involves the military having to intervene to throw out its own constitution (written after a previous coup) due to the enduring popularity of Thaksin and his supporters.]
