Talking About the Border

From Komchadluek, April 22, 2013
Left: Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong
On his podium: Cambodia
Right: Ambassador to the Netherlands and a leader of Thai legal team Virachai Plasai
On his podium: Thailand
[Refers to the oral arguments concerning the Preah Vihear dispute between Thailand and Combodia. Mr. Hor Namhong was a leader of the Cambodian side while Mr. Virachai was a leader of the Thai side to give oral presentation to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).]

From Komchadluek, April 24, 2013
Thai Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul said that (left) ‘we have been well preparing for this case for over three years’, ‘let’s give up’ (right) ‘only be equal…’, ‘ and loss!!’
[Refers to criticism of Surapong’s lax response over the oral argument between Thailand and Cambodia over the request from Cambodia to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for reinterpretation of the 1962 ruling on the Preah Vihear temple. All of these sorts of cartoons imply that the Yingluck government is colluding with Cambodia over this case due to Thaksin’s personal deals with Hun Sen.]
