On the blackboard: In Democracy, Red is the most powerful.
Red Shirt leader Thida Tavornseth says: It’s OK to sneak cheat sheets into the examination room, and it’s not considered a double-standard. Now!! Remember this, students. Lesson 1, setting things on fire is not illegal if you claim to do it for democracy.

[A common mantra through the 2010 Red Shirt protests was telling crowds that, if there was injustice or a coup, that the nation would be in flames. This was justified by explaining that any actions the crowd took would not be breaking the law since they were taking back the country from “robbers.”]
