Threats and Destruction – Red Power, April, 2011

This is a good example of the Red Shirt publications of Somyot Prueksakasemsuk who was arrested at the Cambodian border on April 30.

Reporters Without Borders’ take on this: Lèse-majesté charge used to crackdown on opposition media

From Red Power, April, 2011
The headline reads: Purachai: the ruler for aristocrat – The strategy of switching legs to kick Thaksin
[Purachai was once Interior Minister and a key member of the Thaksin government at the time. His "social order" campaigns proved extremely popular with the public and had pundits speculating he might be a successor to Thaksin. However, like anyone who grew as popular as Thaksin, Purachai found himself forced into political retirement. This article also shows that the pro-Thaksin forces are well aware of the many options appearing that could mean the Peau Thai is excluded from the next government.]

["Nerawen" is a mocking of the name of Bhum Jai Thai Party leader Newin Chidchob. Again, this is typical of the increasing Red Shirt threats towards those who oppose Thaksin.]

The quote reads: I warn again if the election follows the rules, Thailand can move further, but if the coup takes place, beware of the destruction of the whole board.
[This is an idiom that means, like upsetting a chess board, complete destruction will occur.]
