Left: Woman:  In developed capital cities, a power pole is put underground. [meaning electric cables are underground]
Man: So what?
Right: Woman: But here, the power pole is put up for gubernatorial election.

[Reference is to Deputy police chief Pongsappat Pongcharoen, a candidate for Bangkok gubernatorial election from the Pheu Thai Party. Thaksin recently boasted that the Pheu Thai Party was so popular, even in Bangkok, that he could run “a power pole” against the other candidates and still win.]
