Old Photos of the Thai Military

The flag reads: Department of Defense Equipment
The writing on the bottom says: Authentic [or “genuine”] swing the swing
[We don’t understand this. Either these troops might be marching to join a ceremony at the Giant Swing or “swing the swing” is slang?]

One Response to Old Photos of the Thai Military

  1. Peppy says:

The writing on the bottom of the first photo says ขบวนแห่โล่ชิงช้า, “Parade to the Giant Swing Ceremony”. I know it looks like ขนาดแท่ (genuine, authentic), but given the context I’m sure it’s ขบวนแห่.

    ขบวนแห่ = parade
    (พิธี)โล่ชิงช้า = Giant Swing Ceremony
