…The Voice, 7 Day and Democracy Today reported the marriage ceremony on March 2 stirring reactions from Buddhist monks and online media calling the event illegal and immoral.
Myanmar currently has a law against same-sex intercourse that carries up to life in prison but does not mention anything about marriage.
