Keep nationalization away!

From Thairath, April 1, 2017
Title: Tasty bait…?
On the cap: PTT
On bottom peg: TER [Thai Energy Reform]
On top peg: NCPO [National Council for Peace and Order]
On bottom peg on leg: NLA [National Legislative Assembly]
On top peg on leg: CM [Council of Ministers]
Falcon: National Oil Company.
Mouse man: The vulture is starving.
Mouse: Eaten alive.

[Despite what some commentators might allege about Thai politics being about the monarchy or opposition to the military junta, most every issue still comes down to predictable pro- and anti-Thaksin positions.
Thaksin, a champion of modern international style deregulation and privatization, would resist moves to nationalize the country’s resources–especially under military purview.
This pro-Thaksin and pro-Red Shirt cartoonist takes this position showing the PTT being menaced by the idea of a national oil company.
Those who resist Thaksin (such as Manager Group cartoonists) wish government control of state enterprises and industries, fearing control of these resources in the hands of Thaksin business cronies and foreign interests.]
