On the gravestones: honesty, virtue, morality, faithfulness

[The cartoon implies that all honesty, virtue, morality and faithfulness have already gone from the Thai politics. As the Komchadluek cartoons are usually anti-Thaksin, it is likely that this expresses a Thai viewpoint that the present government is deeply riddled with prejudice in favor of Thaksin’s interests. In the Thai world, it is assumed that those in power, elected or not, will naturally succumb to the metaphorical rot of corruption and this cartoon passes judgment on the perceived government allegiance to issues like wiping away corruption convictions for Thaksin.]
