In Silom Rod inside Silom Center there was a good Modelrailway shop with a lot of equipment. When I was back in January the whole center was empty for refurbishment. Somebody know about this shop, perhaps it moved to another location?

Take a look at this Thai Railway Mode by Thai Railwaymen - even C56 Loco alone cost about 20000 Baht (500 Euro)
In Chatuchak, - I didn't know about that. I hope not hard to find,- shops are a nice place to relax and they often have a good selection of railwaymagazines. Otherwise I was in Zürich and Lenzburg myself on vacation two weeks ago, but thanks anyway!
Better make a contact with Model Railroad Siam here: https://www.facebook.com/modelrailroad.siam
Here is the list of Thai Railway Models
1. Trains for Thais http://www.trainsforthais.com/
2. Khun Manop in Phachi district of Ayutthaya : http://portal.rotfaithai.com/modules...ewtopic&t=1022
3. Blue Train Shop of Khun Noo Nueng http://www.bluetrain-shop.com/
4. Model Railroad Siam at Taniya Plaza http://www.modelrailroadsiam.com/
5. Roco Thai shop at the Second floor of JJ Mall http://www.rocothai.com
No.4, Model Railrod Siam was the shop! When refurbishing the earlier shoppingcomplex in Silom they moved over the street into Taniya Plaza, easy avalaible from BTS Sala Daeng and a few meters in Soi Taniya. The shop is located in 4th floor near the escalators. I got a copy of the new White Lotus book "Rails of the Kingdom" there, a must for railway entusiasts interested in thai railways. Surprisingly interesting ! For those living outside the country ISBN is: 978-974-480-194-4.
