I'm always weirded out by how totally un-Thai the characters in Ministy of Culture publications look. Huge googly cartoon eyes, pearly white skin, the obscenely rounded faces of fat Chinese baby idols...

Compare to how it's done in Singapore:
    http://www.centralsingapore.org.sg/s...7/rhythm.shtml

...although they go similarly overboard, just in the other direction...

Old lady from Ang Thong who was born in 1897 during the reign of King Chulalongkorn has been bless by 21 children, grandchildren and great grand children - even her youngest daughter is just 70 year old

Now, she lost all teeth so she can drink only milk and water - before that, the boiled water and fish are her main staple.

Better try partaking Khao Chae of Mae Sri at Soi Kraisri near KTB on Phra sumen road (a road between Bang Lamphu intersection and Phan Fah intersection in parallel with city moat - which has been on business for 5 generations - since the year of 1908 => the stall opened from 10 AM to 4 PM though.
