Government seving bonds did not sell very well only 15,817.73 million Baht of saving bonds sold despite of the expected goal of 50,000 million Baht since investors prefer Bills of Exchange.

The 3-year bonds with the floating interest rate of 3.58125% (to be changed in every 3 month) have been sold at 7,455.14 million (47.1%) Baht while 7-year bonds with stepping interest rates have been sold at 8,362.59 million Baht (52.9%).

Nevertheless, it is the first time when BOT offering the floating rate saving bonds to be linked with BIBOR (Bangkok Interbank Offered Rate) to be sold in commercial Banks.
