For the world market, the gold price is up by 13% from 1419 US$/Troy Ounce to 1593 US$/Troy Ounce while gold price in Thai makret is up by 12% from 20,150 Baht/Baht of gold to 22,700 Baht/Baht of gold - due to the apprciation of Baht after selling the gold to get the cash in Baht

If Baht has been appriciated by 10 cent, the gold price will be reduced by 14 Baht - expecteing Baht to be appriciated from 1US$ = 29.80 Baht to 1US$ = 29.50 Baht

(96.5%) ... Gold with less than 90% purity woudl be rejected by Thai gold shop ... gold with purity of 90-96% woudl be accepted with discount according to purity. The gold must be burnt to shwo the flame colors for purity testing.
