Inspired by my recent success, I've started thinking about the next confluence to conquer, and stumbled on this:

http://confluence.org/confluence.php?lat=-2&lon=106

The point is on the island of Bangka, the lesser half of Bangka-Belitung, two evidently gorgeous islands off the coast of Sumatra. The islands can be easily reached from Palembang, which in turn is accessible via Air Asia (KL) or SilkAir (Singapore, promo return fares from S$220 all-in). Alternatively, there should be direct flights from Batam, off Singapore, to Bangka. According to the following maps and Google, the confluence is in an agricultural area within striking distance of the Puding Besar-Pemali road:

There are two other unvisited confluences along the trip route, although these seem harder to get to:

http://confluence.org/confluence.php?lat=-3&lon=105 (~30 km from Palembang)

Any confluence hunters on 2bkk interested in joining an expedition, either in June or around Sep-Oct? I speak survival-level Bahasa
