The New rabbit card which can be used for both Subway and Sky is coming soon on 23 April 2012
BTS will stop issuing the 30 Day pass on 23 April 2012 and stop issuing the store value cards on 1 May 2012 so you better exchange for the Rabbit card NOW

BTSC is now in trouble with the Rabbit card - those who live in Bang Chak to Bearing has to pay the extra 750 Baht to allow them to use 30 day pass with 50 trips - causing public outrage ...

Worse, this rabbit cards have not been fully functioned with Subway yet.

The store value card can load cash from 100 Baht up to 4000 Baht but need to have the last 15 baht to be function.

According to the ticketwoman at BTS Asoke station the Rabbit card is for Thais only not for foreigners because of "national security" (I speak Thai at a mediocre level btw). Please tell me this woman was talking out of her ass ..... or was she speaking the truth and are us pesky foreigners not allowed to have one?

That bimbo may have no clue at all so you better wait until may Day (1May 2012) though ...

Nevertheless, I guess that the case of 15 Baht extra payment for those who live along the track from Bang chak to Bearing even after using Rabbit cards may be the big embarrassing issue to the point that she may discourage you from using that cards ...

However, we better wait until the insider have given me more clue ...
