[Refers to the face-mask shortage in Thailand amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Many sellers were thought to have been hoarding in order to resell online or to other countries. However, the Ministry of Commerce has continuously confirmed there were plenty of face masks.
After the local media started to note the “mysterious” mask shortage and top officials were accused of hoarding, several officials resigned from their posts.]
