Jatuporn Phromphan: See, Suthep?… If we march… the Bangkokians will donate to us much more than [what they] donate to you.
Caption: Believe they will get more, for sure
[Jatuporn is one of the key leaders of the Red Shirts. Others pictured are, from left, are Nutthawut Saikua, Weng Tochirakarn and Thida Thavornseth. The cartoon is mocking comparing popularity between the People’s Democratic Reform movement led by Suthep Thuagsuban and the Red Shirt group. After the government froze the bank accounts of the anti-government group, Suthep supporters donated money in cash to him during his marches. The cartoon satirizes this by saying Bangkok residences would insult the Red Shirts by throwing shoes at them if they marched around Bangkok again.]
