[This is from a graphic circulated on social media and mentioned on the 2B forum. This provides a very unWestern, but widespread conception, of the interrelationship between pornography and other forms of vice.
International reports have claimed that the coup caused a chilling effect on political freedoms. While it is true those who support the previous government’s attempt to pardon Thaksin and those who oppose the monarchy are being harshly stifled in their freedom of expression, the coup has also opened the flood gates for social comment with suggestions and demands that the military government take action on all manner of issues.
Thai-language forums and social media are filled with high hopes that the military will step in and right social wrongs. This optimism is likely to be dashed over time, but for now there are many interesting opinions on social issues being generated, including this one that also shows, not only how some Thais view themselves, but how they view other nations.]
