At 348 meters tall, Tuntex (also called 85 Sky Tower) was the tallest building in Taiwan until 2003 when it was eclipsed by Taipei 101. It features a dramatic cut-out section in the middle of the building. It houses a hotel, shopping center and offices. The building seems underoccupied. The shopping center in the bottom floors is practically deserted.
Tuntex is a couple blocks away from the busy business district and does not seem to get much foot traffic.
