Foreign shareholding restrictions should be lifted across all industries to eliminate the widespread practice of nominees, according to Democrat party executives.
Instead, a new independent organisation could be established to help protect national security interests in certain key sectors, similar to that used by the United States, according to Korn Chatikavanij, a deputy secretary-general of the Democrats.
