US won’t invade Burma

US won't invade Burma - October 29, 2003
Washington has no plans for military intervention in Burma, the US Ambassador to Thailand said yesterday.
BTW: During the recent U.S. military actions there were two main schools of thought in the expat Burmese community. One that the US was right to overthrow the oppressive governments in Afghanistan and Iraq and should do the same in Burma. The other was that the US was wrong to overthrow the oppressive governments in Afghanistan and Iraq, but it should still invade Burma right away.
