THAILAND: Channel 5 reporter faces criticism from government for interviewing Thaksin
The army launched an investigation into the unauthorized trip that Lieutenant Sunisa Lertpakawat, a military reporter for army-run Channel 5, took to England to interview deposed Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. After meeting with a disciplinary panel, the journalist was told not do publicity for her book, Thaksin, Where Are You? Lt. Sunisa is expected to resign from the army.
