Red publications - April 1-15, 2010
Red publications index

From Voice of Taksin, April 18, 2010
The headline reads: The final round of card-playing game
*Sunset of aristocrat
*The fight of the modern age peasant

[PM Abhisit is on the jack card, Privy Councilor Prem on the queen card, and a third card is left blank. This is to imply that the next card is a king card.
Provocative material such as this has led the "Red in the Land" group (led by the three main Red Shirt leaders) to distance themselves from the publication and reaffirm that they are loyal to the monarchy.
One theory is that the red groups have organically split into factions of various radicalism. Another theory is that Thaksin is merely maintaining a moderate mainstream movement alongside a more radical strain ("Red Siam") to be able to threaten the establishment.]

From Thai Red News, March 26-April 1, 2010, Column: Politics: I am a civil servant, Author Jakkapob Penkair

[The article analyzes the writing of Pridi Banomyong about the legal principle of the “King can do no wrong” which refers to the status of the King that is separate from political involvement. The author claims this principle is misinterpreted and led to the legal principle of lese majeste. The author, Jakkapob Penkair, is the target of several lese majeste cases as well as allegations of inciting insurrection and calling for a communist system for Thailand after the 2009 Songkran rioting.]

M79 - Voice of Taksin, April 18, 2010
The quote reads: Therefore, Thailand has no ability to produce the M79 weapon so the object seized by the police is merely the material of the M79 gun to export to a mother company in a foreign country. The government is wise [refers here to the legendary character of Sri Thanonchai] to create a plot aimed at disgracing the Red Shirts with no regard to the damage of the economic sector. [This refers to the government seizure of M79 launchers in Ayutthaya late last month. Like many items in the Red Shirt publications, it denies an accusation (connection to the M79 incidents) while other parts of the article (including the illustration above) seem to threaten government officials.]
