From Truth Today, December 25-28, 2009
The headline reads: Bringing HM King’s royal speech into consideration for the great benefit of the whole
[This trend has been noted in the Thai press as well as The Nation yesterday--that the Red Shirts have quickly shifted rhetoric to claim they are true royalists and that it is the PAD who are attacking the monarchy. This comes on the heels of increasingly provocative rhetoric from the Red Shirts as well as an increasing willingness of the local press to point out the anti-monarchy bent of recent pro-Thaksin publications.]

From Thai Red News, December 25-31, 2009
The headline reads: Killing order - Thaksin? [refers to the Red Shirt claim that the government ordered Thaksin to be killed]

The headline reads: Read the Legend of the Three Kingdoms before  moving the troops (1)

[This is a reference to a general who was killed by his own troops in classic Chinese literature and a part of the new pro-Thaksin group push to promote Commander-in-Chief Anupong to be one of the villains they oppose (along with PM Abhisit and Privy Councilor Prem).]

From Truth Today, December 15-17, 2009

The headline reads: 1 year government - Wolf in sheep's clothing

[The cover shows Privy Council President Prem Tinasulanonda, Commander-in-Chief Anupong Paojinda, and Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. This refers to the Red Shirt vow to topple the government so it does not reach its first year in power. The tiger likely refers to the Chinese New Year, which in 2010 is the year of the tiger. It also may refer to the Eastern Tigers military clique, which is steadfastly opposed to Thaksin. Many of Thaksin's moves, via the Red Shirts, have been to stop Eastern Tiger officers from obtaining all the top posts in the military.
The other significant point here is the new Red Shirt tactic of elevating C-in-C Anupong to one of the top personalities they attack along with Prem and Abhisit. This was in evidence during Thaksin's recent trip to Cambodia.]

From Voice of Taksin, December 11, 2009
The words read: Every time that the illegal gathering of the PAD occurs [they use] HM King’s image, yellow shirts and the blue scarf [symbolizing the Queen] are used, [but] the yellow flag-blue flag they claim their loyalty to. Read "Revealing the gang toppling the highness" Page 5

[This accuses the PAD of trying to bring royal figures to be involved in politics. This is to counter PAD claims that the UDD attempts to topple the monarchy. To counter this, the UDD is claiming that they are loyal to the monarchy, but the true group that try to use the royal symbol in political gathering is the PAD, which is not suitable.]
