More on "Elect one, get one free" - December 15, 2007
Here are a few more screenshots and a translation of the Hi-Thaksin.net video equating a vote for Samak to a vote for Thaksin. While the video was controversial, the Hi-Thaksin.net was never blocked last week as some claimed--it was just timing out because of high traffic. However, the site does seem to be down for "construction" today. The original video can be seen in full on the 2Bangkok YouTube channel.

Here is a translation of the video

"Elect one, get one free" - December 8, 2007

EC wants ban on Thaksin internet site - Bangkok Post, December 7, 2007
The Election Commission has urged state agencies to ban the pro-Thaksin website www.hi-thaksin.net, after it carried messages saying that a vote for the People Power party (PPP) is synonymous to voting for deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra...

The "message" referred to in the article is actually a popup video entitled "Elect one, get one free." The video starts by trying to show that the Democrat's Abhisit, Chart Thai's Banharn, Pua Pandin executives, etc. are closely aligned with Manager's Sondhi and all are under the sway of Privy Councilor Prem who has delusions of granduer. This has been Hi-Thaksin.net's typical message over the last year.
Next the video has a single frame linking Samak and Thaksin (above) and then the rest of the video extols Thaksin and his accomplishments as PM.

Right: At the end of the video is a scene of happy country folk
